Sermon Context
I was asked by my home church of First United Methodist Church Richardson to guest preach online during their sermon series, “Timeless” that was digging deeper into the Sermon on the Mount. As I prepared for this sermon, it became clear that the lens that my social location affords me colors my perspective of the use of Matthew 5:38-48 in our lives as Christians.
